Interim Re-Examinations
In certain situations, LHA will re-examine a family’s income and/or composition with the family's written request. A family may request to have rent portions revieweed due to loss in income, add or remove household members or exemptions to the MTW, minimum earned income. This is called an interim re-examination. LHA will not complete the interim unless all required verifications are provided.
You can request an interim if:
• You are removing someone from your household;
• You want to add someone to your household;
• Or if your income decreases.
Please note:
• All requests for an interim must be in writing.
• You are responsible for reporting all changes in household size within 30 days
o You may not add any individuals ages 18 or older without prior approval from LHA.
