How do I use my Voucher and how much of my rent will it pay?

At the voucher briefing you will receive a lot of information about your voucher and documents that will help you figure out how to put your voucher to best use.

The voucher briefing is also where you will learn what your target rent is and the bedroom size for your voucher. The actual percentage of your rent that will be subsidized by LHA will be calculated once you find a place to rent but you will receive an estimated amount of housing assistance LHA will pay along with what your estimated portion of rent.

At this point you will start the lease-up process.
