The relocation process may take 45- 60 days.  If your move-out date is less than 45 days and you move to a new unit, you may be responsible for the first months rent.

LHA must complete an updated criminal history check and update all income and asset verifications prior to approving the move.

LHA must inspect and pass the unit before contracts and leases can be approved.

You are not eligible to move if you have been evicted for a serious or repeated lease violation.

You are not eligible to move if you have not given the landlord and LHA written 30 day notice which begins on the first day on the month and ends on the last day of the month.

You are not eligible to move if you have tenant defects cited at a HQS inspection and you have not corrected the defects.

You are not eligible to move if you are in the middle of your first year lease.
